Every Parochial Church Council is a charity, and each of our six is responsible for its own governance. These are the policies that apply across the benefice.
Safeguarding
Each PCC adopts the Church of England's Promoting a Safer Church policy annually, and our practice follows the House of Bishops' guidance. Our safeguarding page lists every parish officer and the diocesan contacts.
Churchyard regulations
Memorials in our churchyards are governed by the Diocese of Winchester's churchyard regulations, which set out what materials, shapes and inscriptions are permitted. If you are choosing a headstone, speak to the Rector or your monumental mason before ordering, because a stone that does not comply cannot be erected.
Privacy
We hold personal data for the electoral roll, for the Pew News mailing list, and for the registers of baptism, marriage and burial, which are public records kept under law. We do not sell or share data, and you can ask what we hold about you at any time by writing to the Rector.
